What is Rainbow Road?
This is a community for LGBTQIA+ players of the various RuneScape games.

History
This community was formed via BlueSky and Discord in mid 2025. Shortly after the formation of the community, it came out that Jon Bellamy (Mod North, the CEO of Jagex) cancelled the Pride event in OSRS and only allowed RS3 to run an old event. After that, we orchestrated a month-long protest in the center of Falador. We also held a player-run Pride Event that had massive turnout.

This forum was created due to Discord's sketchy implementation of age verification.

Our Goals
The primary goal of Rainbow Road is to provide common ground for all LGBTQIA+ RuneScape players to have a safe space to socialize with other players, organize events, and find clans. We are not a clan ourself, but a social hub for all other LGBTQIA+ communities to get together and organize. We do maintain a directory of LGBTQIA+ supportive clans, which is a good way to find a clan if you are looking for one. We also encourage leaders of clans to add their communities to the list and collaborate with other clans for events.

We will also hold regularly scheduled events with the stated purpose of making our community visible and communicating to Jagex that we are dedicated players of the games who are more engaged than the bigoted elements they are supporting.

We strongly believe that Pride is not just for June, so we will be doing pride themed events regularly.
